Weakly Trivia Question

Yes – I know I spelled it weakly and not weekly. This is not going to be the strongest of connection411 features, but it could prove to be fun! First one to correctly respond will receive a piece of DOVE chocolate. . .

This week’s weakly question: You don’t have to live in Ransomville or the surrounding area very long before you realize that everyone has a nickname. Erica Swiatek, one of the women who leads Kids Jam has a special nickname that the kids call her by. What is Erica’s nickname?

First one with the right answers gets the chocolate!

This Weekend @ RFMC

Now there are two opportunities each weekend to worship with God’s people – Saturdays at iWorship 5:07pm and Sundays at 10:00am. The message at both services will be the same, while the format and worship music will differ slightly.

This week, Pastor Bill continues a sermon series – James – Walk By Faith. This sermon series has been birthed out of a sense that we need to get deep into the Word, and that we need not just a theoretical faith, but a real faith for a real world.

At one time Martin Luther believed the book of James should not be a part of the Bible — later he changed his mind. Today we are going to look at what seems a contradiction in God’s Word, but as we will see, it is teaching us something very important.

Pastor’s message this week is titled, “Faith That Does Not Save” based on James 2:14-26 - Click here for scripture!

Saturday iWorship, and Sunday 10 AM Worship is being led by Pastor Greg and the rest of the Worship Team Band. Please lift all of these people up in prayer. If you would like to be a part of the worship team please take a couple moments and speak to Pastor Greg.

Join us, and why not bring a friend to hear this wonderful message of grace!

Easter At RFMC

Celebrate Easter, and the redemptive act of Christ, with us this year!

Friday, April 10th, we begin our observance of Good Friday beginning with a Cross Walk. This Cross Walk begins at the Ransomville United Methodist Church, located next to the Post Office, and journeys to the Ransomville Free Methodist Church. Along this walk there will be several stops for Scripture reading, reflection, and singing as we move toward the Good Friday service. A school bus will accompany us on our route, available for warmth and transportation for those who would like to progress on this Walk but are not able to physically walk the entire route. The bus will return walkers to their cars subsequent to the Good Friday Service.

The Community Good Friday Service begins at 7:00 pm, as those on the Cross Walk arrive at the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, and will be a Tenebrae Service led by the area clergy.

Saturday, April 11th will beiWorship 507 and the beginning of our Easter Celebrations!

Easter Sunday begins with a Sonrise Service in our church pavilion at 7 am! An Easter breakfast follows at 8:00pm. Bible Hour on Easter Sunday is postponed due to the variant service schedule. Our primary Easter Celebration begins at 10 am.

Take a second and invite those you know to join you in one or all of these special services! 82% of people who are asked will come!
